Happy New Year Everyone!! (Well to everyone who follows the Christian calendar, for the rest of you, Happy Thursday!) I hope that in this new year, you all receive many blessings. I also pray that this new year be brighter than its predecessor.

Life:
Well winter break is almost over, as is the crazy break practice schedule. Just two more hell like practices and then things will return to normal. (thank Jesus)

As some of you may know, I'm serving on a Chrysalis Team, and I am giving the talk "Christian Action," and at the meeting this Saturday I will be previewing my talk. And in true procrastinator fashion, I have yet to finish it. What I do have written is well, not exactly what I was hoping for. I'm frustrated because all the talks that have previewed in previous weeks were amazing, and mine just seems, blah. I want to say the words that GOD wants me to say, and not whatever crap I put on the paper. Ugh, so I've been praying a lot and talking with my prayer partner about it, so hopefully I'll fix it enough to feel ok about it come Saturday.

Well my eyes have been getting worse, (old news) and I'm hoping to get into the eye doctors this week/weekend so I can finally get some nice hard pieces of plastic to stick into my eyes. (aka hard contacts) I want to get them so bad, so I can stop squinting at everything, and stop having to ask teachers to print things in large print. Ugh.


Art:
On a happier note, "Night at the Tavern" is coming along nicely (aka the colored version of Oh my..) I've been working on it pretty much constantly because I'm just so excited about it. The only major thing left do to is the background scene, (which is taking longer than the rest of the pic) and the little details. I'm really hoping to get it done before school starts again because Kingsley would like for me to come up with something to enter in the Scholastic Art Show, and all the good stuff in my traditional portfolio can't be used because of my references.

Other than that things is the world of K are pretty fine and dandy. God bless!
